Chiaroscuro Resto Art was built on a single, uncompromising principle: your archive belongs to you alone. This policy explains, in plain terms, that the application does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data whatsoever. Every artwork passport, diagnostic session, material registry entry, and studio record you create lives exclusively on your own device, inside a fully offline workspace.
We collect nothing. Chiaroscuro Resto Art does not request your name, email, location, device identifiers, or any other personal information, and it contains no account or sign-up system. The condition maps, diagnostic charts, and dossiers you build stay exactly where you created them — on your device.
Because no information is ever collected, none is ever used, analyzed, profiled, or sold. There is no server on our end receiving your solvent calculations, climate logs, or artwork records, so there is nothing for us to act upon, share, or monetize.
All entries — artwork passports, pigment cross-references, treatment progress, and exported dossiers — are stored locally within the app's private storage on your device. Nothing is synchronized to a remote server, cloud database, or backup service operated by us. If you do not export or back up a file yourself, it exists only on your device.
Chiaroscuro Resto Art does not integrate third-party analytics software development kits, advertising networks, or tracking pixels. No usage statistics, crash reports, or behavioral data are transmitted to outside parties, because the app is designed to function entirely without a network connection.
The strongest safeguard we can offer is architectural: data that never leaves your device cannot be intercepted, breached, or leaked in transit. Your records are protected by the same operating-system-level security that already protects the rest of your device's local storage.
Chiaroscuro Resto Art is a professional conservation tool not directed at children, and in any case it collects no data from any user, of any age. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone, which keeps the app inherently compliant with children's privacy protections such as COPPA.
There are no accounts to manage and no remote profile to delete, because none exists. You retain complete control over every record at all times, and simply uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored passports, sessions, and dossiers from your device.
Should our practices ever evolve, we will revise this policy and update the effective date above accordingly. We encourage you to review this page periodically, though our core commitment — collecting nothing — is not one we intend to change.
